There is something haunting about the family having zero clue about WW2 in its entirety. I remember learning about them and wondering and I still wonder now how many are still in the wilderness, driven there by atrocities or not. Many find being alone to be fear inducing. But they left and isolated out of fear to begin with. This music is just the tip of the iceberg for how haunting and emotional the situation is. It does its job as well as possible, though. Four essential tracks hidden away on one side of a special vinyl edition. I love everything Hammock releases, but the more ambient they go, the more I love it. ggspinefx

Slow Meadow's music feels like it captures the essence of a soul. Since the first time I came across the self titled debut some time in 2016, I've been repeatedly amazed at how many spacious layers of beauty and pain can be woven into a single song. Love this release and am happy to support such inspiring composition. 𝔅𝔩𝔦𝔰𝔰 ॐ 𝔄𝔟𝔶𝔰𝔰
