In addition to the CD, each package includes a couple poem selections (written by me), and is made from burlap, paper, twine, and topped by a small bronze Minnesota charms. My wife and I assembled these at our house. This is a very short run - we made a total of 50.

about
Being the first song recorded on my inherited piano, I wrote this as a dedication to my second child, Oliver, whose name means the olive tree, signifying an offer of peace.
The song is a marriage between the calm and epic of Elskavon’s sound, led by simple, contemplative piano lines. Floor creaks from upstairs are audible here and there throughout the song. Rather than editing them out or doing new takes, I purposefully kept them in as a conscious decision to allow the raw imperfections be a living part of the song, and the album.

Slow Meadow's music feels like it captures the essence of a soul. Since the first time I came across the self titled debut some time in 2016, I've been repeatedly amazed at how many spacious layers of beauty and pain can be woven into a single song. Love this release and am happy to support such inspiring composition. 𝔅𝔩𝔦𝔰𝔰 ॐ 𝔄𝔟𝔶𝔰𝔰
